I like the physical size a lot better, as well as the material of the shell. I've had multiple PowerBooks that have been physically more fragile than their plastic counterparts. I want something more sturdy than what I have now.
I figured maxing out a 2 GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook (200GB HD, 2GB RAM) was a good choice. Anything is really better than my seemingly slow as molasses, 3.5 year old PowerBook (867 MHz)!
And for some reason, I have a hidden fear of ATI. ;)
Mine also took a little longer than expected in Alaska. =( And it arrived at my house while I was out of town for almost two weeks, so then I had to end up waiting even longer for it. But now we've been together for a happy & successful seven months (well, except for that time that some idiot knocked it off my desk and I had to pay way too much to get it fixed).
